Requiem
Hail the Sons of Earth
And cunning lass of mirth
Evil has held sway
Darkness covers day
In deep and dark stone hall
Foul priests of Elder Eye
Did issue forth their call
And from the earth came nigh
A beast of primal power
With skin of hardened stone
In form and face most dour
And teeth to pierce the bone
To save the elfmaid’s friend
The heroes did their best
Though they could not fend
Their valor met the test
One gave his life to save
One cut down where he stood
One pierced by lizard glaive
All gave their lives to good
Hail the Sons of Earth
And cunning lass of mirth
Evil holds no sway
From darkness comes the day
