- A thorough search of the Ghoram Homestead uncovered the body of Ghoram, a stash of tanbrosh, a letter Tal was preparing to send to Naquent and some gold.
- Tyrin “accidentally” set off the alarm on Delvanos’ holding cell. Thandain was not amused.

- Ghoram revealed via Speak with the Dead that he was killed by Tal Chammish and someone who looked just like Ghoram.
- Thandain suggested that the fake Ghoram may actually be a type of shapeshifter known as a doppleganger.

- Mazug, the orc chieftan, spoke with Durnegar and Delvanos about receiving help from the temple for his addicted orcs. A tent was setup outside the temple for the orcs.

- On the fifth day of the journey to Verbobonc, the party was accosted by a group calling themselves the Moon Bandits. It isn’t know what exactly they were, but they were able to shrug off most physical attacks and they were biters.

Travel Advisory
Brandon Miramor, Minister of Commerce, issued a travel advisory concerning the recent upswing in banditry on the roads around Verbobonc. Miramor was quoted as saying, “We continue to place a high priority on protecting our vital trade routes. Local law enforcement is seeking information regarding the group calling themselves the Moon Bandits. This group is led by the notorious felon Verneas Kohl. Kohl has been captured on seven different occasions, but always manages to escape. I am not suggesting incompetence on the part of our police, but I would like to know how this continues to happen. If there is a good side to all of this, then it would be the small number of deaths as a result of these bandit attacks. Merchants should continue with business as usual. Kohl and his gang will be apprehended soon.” The Church of Fharlangn, which meets at the Dusty Road tavern, could not be reached for comment. The always eloquent Chief of Police, when reached for comment on Kohl’s recent spree of thievery, only replied, “Rats!”.
Farmer’s Corner
The high winds that buffeted the countryside over a week ago still remain unexplained. Ben Merris, a local farmer, said, “I ain’t never seen anything quite like it this time of year. We expect this during the planting season, but not this close to harvest. We lost most of the south forty.” Other locals reported similar losses. The local grain union expects to see a price increase in wheat and other grain products this winter.
Dark Night Festival
The inns and taverns are going to be packed on the 11th of Goodmonth. The darkest night of the year is always a cause for celebration. It is the one time of year that both Celene and Luna are missing from the night sky. Astrologers and diviners gather and search the sky for omens and portents of things to come.
